Woman Rescued After Fall Of Nearly 100 Feet In Rocky Mountain National Park
ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, Colo. (CBS4) - A woman was rescued after surviving a fall down a snow-covered slope of between 75 and 100 feet in Rocky Mountain National Park. The 21-year-old sustained serious injuries after slipping.
A search and rescue team responded to the accident near Emerald Lake on Tuesday. They were able to reach her and eventually take her to an ambulance.
The woman was sent to a nearby trauma center.
