Man Working In Trench Dies After Dirt Wall Collapses At Construction Site In Greeley
GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4)- A man who was working in a trench when the wall of dirt collapsed has died from his injuries. The trench collapse happened at the Poudre Ponds construction site in the 1100 block of North 35th avenue in Greeley.
The trench collapsed just after noon Thursday. The preliminary investigation shows that an adult male was working in the trench when the dirt wall collapsed. He was rushed to the hospital and died a short time later.
The identity of the man has not been released.
