DURANGO, Colo. (CBS4) – Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers rescued a bear cub north of Durango. It was spotted walking around and eating from bird feeders.

The cub was extremely emaciated and had injuries on his paws.

He’ll spend the rest of the hibernating months recuperating in the Frisco Creek rehabilitation facility. He will be released back into the wild in the spring.
