VIDEO: Horse Rescued From Icy Pond In Loveland

LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4) - Loveland first responders plucked a horse from an icy lake Saturday morning. They say the horse wandered out onto the ice and then fell in.

They say it happened sometime overnight.

The crews used a crane proved by the city to pull the horse up and out.

"Now the long task of warming the horse back up," said firefighters.

It's not clear who the horse belongs to, if anyone, or how it escaped its enclosure.
