COVID In Greeley: Union Says Weld County Failed To Protect Workers At JBS Plant Amid Another Outbreak
WELD COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- The UFCW Local 7 Union is calling out Weld County for failure to protect its essential workers. The response stems from a new coronavirus outbreak at the JBS Plant in Greeley.
The union said, "Our members and communities have suffered enough at the hands of negligent leadership. Some 350 JBS workers have tested positive since the coronavirus pandemic began. Six employees of the plant have died.
