COVID In Garfield County: Contact Tracers Overwhelmed As Coronavirus Cases Surge
GARFIELD COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- As coronavirus cases continue to rise in Colorado, Garfield County Public Health officials say their contact tracers are overwhelmed. The daily number of COVID-19 cases in Garfield County exceeds the previous high levels seen in July.
Case investigators can handle about 50 cases each day. Right now there are 155 open cases.
Garfield County is prioritizing contact tracing based on age and occupation.
