DENVER (CBS4)– Tuesday, Oct. 13 is Colorado Free Application Day. It’s a day when students can apply to all 32 public colleges and universities for free.

The statewide push is designed to increase the number of 11th and 12th grade students seeking higher education.

Colorado is one of the most educated states in the country, but only 56% of high school graduates actually go to college.

Nearly 75% of jobs in Colorado require a post secondary credential.
