Crews Hope To Contain Middle Fork Fire Burning In Routt County By Halloween
ROUTT COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- The Middle Fork Fire continues to burn in Routt County near Steamboat Springs. Crews hope to have it contained by Halloween.
The fire has burned nearly 12,000 acres since it started last month.
The smoke from that fire, combined with smoke from the Mullen Fire burning on the Colorado-Wyoming border and the Cameron Peak Fire burning in Larimer County, is causing an air quality health advisory that will remain in effect until at least Friday morning.
