Donations To GoFundMe For 3 Thornton Children Growing
THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4) - A GoFundMe page set up for three children, whose parents both died in a motorcycle crash, surpassed the halfway point to its goal. The community has donated more than $26,000 as of Monday afternoon.
The couple was hit and killed in Thornton, near 104th Avenue and Washington Street Saturday night.
Thornton police say preliminary information shows one vehicle was turning into the King Soopers parking lot as another vehicle was leaving and trying to turn left onto 104th Ave.
The vehicle turning left, police say, collided with two motorcycles which were traveling east.
Investigators are still looking into many factors of the crash, and have not determined if any citations will be issued.
