VIDEO: Porch Pirate Swipes Package In Arvada

9/24 UPDATE: The criminal in this case has been identified, per Arvada police.

ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4) - Arvada police want to find a porch pirate after they were caught in the act on surveillance video. Police posted the video on Wednesday, but the theft happened on Sept. 18 at 8:20 a.m.

A woman is seen driving around the area of 84th Avenue and Gardenia Street. She was in an black GMC Yukon.

Police ask if you know who the suspect is or know where the vehicle is to call the Whisper Creek Community Station at 720-898-6957.

On 9/18/20 at 8:20 am, this criminal was cruising the area of 84th and Gardenia St. looking for items to steal from porches. A good reminder to have items hidden from street view when delivered. If anyone recognizes this criminal or the vehicle ( older black GMC Yukon) Please call the Whisper Creek Community Station. 720-898-6990.
