CDOT Urges Drivers To Be Aware During Rail Safety Week
DENVER (CBS4)- The Colorado Department of Transportation is urging the community to be cautious when approaching rail crossings across the state. This week is rail safety week.
In 2019, four people were killed and seven others injured in 28 different vehicle-train crashes in Colorado.
CDOT urges people to slow down while driving, look and listen for trains when approaching a train crossing; never race a train and never stop on railroad tracks.
