Water Restrictions Set To Go Into Place In Fort Collins On Oct. 1
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - Leaders in Fort Collins are trying to avoid a water shortage and are putting mandatory watering restrictions in place across the city.
The restrictions go into effect on Oct. 1 and includes the following measures:
- No lawn watering
- No residential car washes
The city cited the ongoing drought, the Cameron Peak Fire to the west and repairs to the water system as reasons for the change.
