LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)– Crews fighting the Cameron Peak Fire have made progress, getting containment up to 8%. Firefighters were able to slow the growth on Tuesday.
Crews are concerned that an upcoming dry spell could increase fire activity over the next few days. The fire has burned 102,596 acres since it started on Aug. 13.
