Man Dies After Being Shot By Denver Police Near West High School

DENVER (CBS4) -- A man has died after being shot by Denver police officers near West High School. The man was shot on Wednesday at West 10th Avenue and Inca Street.

Officers say the man had a handgun and was trying to steal a vehicle. They say he did not follow commands to drop the gun.

The man has not been identified.

Police have not said how many shots the officers fired.
