Evacuations Announced For New Fire In Park County
PARK COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Firefighters responded to a new wildland fire in Park County on Sunday. They say the Thorpe Fire is burning southeast of Fairplay and northwest of Lake George.
The fire is 100 acres in size. Two subdivisions in the Weber Park area are evacuated.
Multiple aircraft are attacking the fire.
It's not clear what caused the fire, or whether crews have any containment yet.
