U.S. Forest Service Warns Of Unstable Trails In Colorado After Rains

SAN JUAN NATIONAL FOREST (CBS4) - If you're headed to the southern Colorado mountains, you'll want to be aware of unstable trails. The National Forest Service is warning of unstable trails in the San Juan National Forest.

While much needed, recent heavy rains have partially washed out some trails and left others muddy.

The Forest Service is asking people not to try to drive on muddy trails and roads as it leaves significant damage.
