Police: Would-Be Burglar Passes Out From Blood Loss After Punching Window

CANON CITY, Colo. (CBS4) - A would-be robber's plan to break into a home landed him in the hospital instead. Police say Daniel Ramos punched a window of a Canon City home on Friday -- and ended up passing out from blood loss.

Pamala Miles was home alone when it happened. She says Ramos knocked, then tried to push past her when she opened the door.

"God gave me the strength to be able to shut that door and get that door and call 911," she said.

It's not clear if Miles was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
