Damage Estimate From Denver Protests Eclipses $1 Million

DENVER (CBS4) - The City of Denver says $1,034,782 in damage was done during recent protests downtown. Officials also said their overall response led to $2.57 million in overtime costs for the city.

The costs include graffiti clean up, boarding up broken doors and windows and general damage repair.

The city also says a glass art installation located at the entrance of McNichols Building in Civic Center Park may be a total loss.
