And yet, the city of Denver has paid out $14.5 MILLION in the period 2014-2017 to settle lawsuits brought against the police department for excessive force, in-custody deaths, and other malfeasance. That’s fourteen times the cost of the protest repairs–the protests *against* excessive force, in-custody deaths, and other malfeasance. Where’s y’all’s outrage about *that* expense? And yes, the city’s taxpayers pay those costs.

Send the bill to the BLM parent group! They can make T-shirts and masks and fund travel. They need to pay for the damages their group has done. Lawlessness with no responsibility.
    Sue the Mayor.
And sue Tay Anderson for being part of this mob.
Don’t assume the taxpayer will pay for this.
Right now the city has an image of lawlessness and destruction. Better work on that.

Send the bill to the mayor and Chief of Police for not stopping it. Most of the vandals have probably been released with no charges so guess who is footing the bill..Why are the statues not being protected now? They are using so many men tracking down fire crackers that important things go unattended…Let a person tie a rope or chain around the MLK statue and see how many police come out of the woodwork. This city is fouled up as the administration is bending over backwards to appease the vandals.

      I agree with you.
Where’s the fix for all this?

Make the two amounts part of the restitution they should have to pay as a taxpayer and law abiding citizen I should not have to pay a single penny for their lawless temper tantrums.
