Elbert County Joins Others Seeking Waiver From Statewide 'Safer At Home' Restrictions
(CBS4) -- Elbert County is the latest to ask to be exempt from the statewide "Safer at Home" order. So far, at least sixteen counties have requested waivers. If granted, it gives officials the option to adjust social distancing and other rules to better meet the county's needs.
The counties requesting waivers cover mostly rural areas and have a low number of confirmed cases.
