SNAP Recipients In Colorado Get Access To Online Shopping

DENVER (CBS4) - Colorado's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients will soon be able to use those benefits online. The USDA approved the plan for Colorado on Thursday.

The approval means families will be able to order food from online stores like Amazon.

Six other states already allow SNAP benefits to be used online.

The USDA said this move will allow more families to get supplies needed during the coronavirus pandemic.
