SUMMIT COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)– It’s something you typically don’t see on the snow-covered slopes in Colorado- a ball of fire. A snowcat caught fire at Keystone Ski Resort last week.
The fire happened after the sun set so it was quite a sight: a big ball of fire burning in the dark on the snow.
Summit County Fire posted the picture on Wednesday even though the fire happened last week.
Fortunately, no one was hurt. It’s tough to say whether there was much damage to the ski area.
