Keyser Creek Fire Burns Near Parshall
PARSHALL, Colo. (CBS4) - A fire has charred five acres near Parshall in Grand County. The fire was first reported on Friday, but did not grow on Sunday.
The Keyser Creek Fire is burning beetle-killed lodgepole pine along Morgan Gulch.
Officials say snow surrounding the fire is providing a natural barrier. No structures are threatened.
They add firefighters will not respond on the ground at this time, only from above.
Morgan Gulch Trail is closed.
