Thornton Firefighters Rescue Horse Who Got Stuck In High Water
THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4) - A horse is recovering after being rescued from a ditch in Thornton. The mare got caught in water up to her chest.
Thankfully, emergency responders were able to collaborate with a North Metro Fire unit to get the horse pulled up to the bank.
Authorities said the mare was very cold while the operation was taking place on Thursday night, but it wasn't hurt.
