Fire Departments Merge In Adams County To Create 'Superstation'
ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Two fire departments in Adams County are merging. That means a new "superstation" is opening near 68th Avenue and Pecos Street.
The two departments, Adams County Fire and South Adams Fire, merged because of the rate of growth in the area.
Station 11 is not open to the public yet. Officials will dedicate it on Thursday and host an open house for the community in the spring.
