Video: Wildlife Officers Catch Tranquilized Bear Cub Falling From Tree

(CBS4) -- A mother bear and her cub that were hanging out Ken Caryl Middle School were tranquilized and caught after falling out of a tree.

UP A TREE: A mama bear and her cub got stuck in a tree Monday afternoon in Colorado. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office helped Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers tranquilize and catch the bears in a tarp. The bears will be moved to a more remote location where they can look for food safely.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office helped Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers tranquilized and caught the bears in a tarp on Monday.

Video shows the bears after they wake up inside a container for transportation. The bear and cub were relocated to a more remote location where they can look for food safely.
