BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) — Colorado’s most unique commute got underway on Friday morning. Hundreds of people showed up for Tube To Work Day on Boulder Creek.

The event was scheduled to take place a week ago but was pushed back because the wet winter and spring led to dangerously high water.

The creek is now settled down enough to make things safer for the hundreds who joined the festivities in Boulder.

This is the 12th year for the event.
