Volunteers Give Back To Restore Gore Creek Banks Near Vail
VAIL, Colo. (CBS4) - Volunteers came together to restore the banks of Gore Creek. It's a tributary to Eagle River in Vail.
Dozens of dedicated volunteers worked along three miles of riverbank this weekend. It's part of a river restoration project.
The volunteers planted Lodgepole Pines, willows, and other trees to keep the waterways healthy.
This part of the river is characterized as "unhealthy" and organizers say that's why this work was so important.
