Firefighters Working New Brush Fire In Southeastern Colorado

OTERO COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - A fire burning in Otero County has burned about 100 acres south of La Junta. The Smith Canyon Fire flared up Sunday morning.

Crews say the fire is 60% contained as of Sunday afternoon. No homes or structures are threatened.

They are working on a cold trail and mop up efforts.
