Some Campers Evacuated After Elk River Floods In Routt County

ROUTT COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Parts of Routt County are flooding due to the rising levels of the Elk River. Campers have evacuated the areas surrounding the river.

The flooding is happening off Routt County Road 42. It may be the first time the river has flooded din eight years.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for that area.
