A Line Service Returns To Normal After Crash, Semi Driver Cited

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Service on the A Line was disrupted for several hours on Monday because of a crash between a semi and the train. The crash happened at Sable Crossing.

Service was returned to normal just before 4 p.m. The crash happened just after 10:30 a.m.

Passengers were transported by bus between Central Park Station and 40th and Airport Station after the crash.

South Sable Boulevard at Smith Road was shut down in all directions during the crash cleanup and investigation.

The semi driver was determined to be at fault in the crash and was cited for careless driving and disobedience to railroad signals.

Minor injuries for multiple passengers on the train have been reported.
