GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) – Four staff members were taken to the hospital and six others were treated for minor injuries after a riot at the Lookout Mountain Youth Services Center in Golden. The riot broke out just before 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Four of the youth involved were also injured. The incident involved eight inmates in the housing unit called Cedar Lodge and 19 staff members.

The two juveniles accused of starting the riot are in custody and have been separated from the population. What happened leading up to the riot is being investigated, however the two at the center have not been cooperating with the police investigation.
