DENVER (CBS4) – Parts of Colorado woke up to large amounts of snow thanks to a Friday night snow storm. Denver officially got 8.3″ of snow.

Some people started their weekend digging or clearing off sidewalks. But others busted out the sleds and tubes and headed to Ruby Hill.

It was a smooth ride for some, but others chose a bumpier path.
