Pitkin County Among The Top For Average Tax Refunds
PITKIN COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Taxpayers in Pitkin County can expect some big refunds this year. Smart Asset ranked the counties that will get the most money back this tax season.
Pitkin County ranked sixth nationwide. The average refund there is more than $6,000.
The county also has the highest projected tax owed in the state -- at about $10,000.
