DENVER (CBS4)– The Denver Sheriff Department is offering new training at the academy that doesn’t involve guns. This training involves downward dog and child pose.

Deputies can attend specialized yoga classes tailored to first responders. The classes are designed to help officers deal with stress, maintain composure and enhance performance in the field.
