Deputies Do Yoga To Relieve Stress, Enhance Job Performance
DENVER (CBS4)- The Denver Sheriff Department is offering new training at the academy that doesn't involve guns. This training involves downward dog and child pose.
Deputies can attend specialized yoga classes tailored to first responders. The classes are designed to help officers deal with stress, maintain composure and enhance performance in the field.
The department says yoga can help teach skills that are just as crucial as any other part of the training offered for deputies.
