Water Main Break Causes Large Hole In Wash Park Street

DENVER (CBS4) - A broke water main left a gaping hole in the middle of Lafayette Street in Denver north of Washington Park. Denver Water officials say an 8" main busted on Monday morning.

Three apartment complexes were without water during the repairs. Crews were able to fix the pipe within a couple of hours, but fixing the hole in the street took a little longer.
