Initiative For Bigger Paychecks For DIA Workers Headed To Voters

DENVER (CBS4) -Employees at Denver International Airport are fighting for better wages. Now, voters will decide whether to increase their minimum wage.

The ballot initiative was just cleared for the May election. It would raise the minimum wage to $13/hour and then to $15/hour by 2021.

The new wage would apply to private sector workers at DIA, including fast food and other restaurant workers.
