Plans For Drilling Near Rocky Flats Pulled
BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Highlands Natural Resources decided it won't drill near Rocky Flats, a former nuclear weapons plant. The oil and gas company says it asked for state approval to drill on two sites near the plant.
Nearby residents voiced strong opposition.
Highlands Natural Resources also dropped plans to drill in the Town of Superior and under Standley Lake.
