Expansion Planned Approved At Vail Mountain

VAIL, Colo. (CBS4) - After decades of planning, Vail Mountain will soon start its Golden Peak Expansion plan. The Vail Daily reports the U.S. Forest Service authorized the project last week.

The plan will add a lift and 42 acres of new ski trails at Golden Peak.

Resort officials say that will give athletes more room to train and for visitors to have fun. Construction begins next summer.
