Riverside Park Devastated By 2013 Floods Now Back Open
EVANS, Colo. (CBS4) - The Town of Evans officially re-opened Riverside Park after the 2013 floods decimated it.
The town was almost completely underwater leaving homes and parks ruined.
After years of hard work, Riverside Park was transformed.
The rebuild features climbing walls, swing sets, trails and athletic fields.
The town's mayor says it's more than just a park, it's a symbol of the community's strength.
