Wildlife Experts Rescue Adorable, Juvenile Cooper's Hawk
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Colorado Parks and Wildlife experts helped save a baby Cooper's hawk in Colorado Springs.
Officials say it was found in a yard near the Prospect Lake area.
A wildlife biologist and raptor expert examined the bird which is now headed for rehabilitation at the Nature and Wildlife Discovery Center in Pueblo.
Officials say the hawk was hurt and couldn't fly away and was being harassed by cats.
