Vail Requests Snow Making Operations Expansion
VAIL, Colo. (CBS4)- As Mother Nature works to make sure winter is on its way with fresh powder, Vail plans to expand its snow making operations.
The U.S. Forest Service wants to hear from the public before the request is approved.
The proposal would allow the resort to create an additional 32 miles of snow making pipeline.
The Forest Service is hosting an open house on the project Oct. 23 at 5:30 p.m. at the Forest Service District Office in Minturn.
