Maroon Bells Shuttle Celebrates 40 Years Of Taking Tourists To Popular Site

PITKIN COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - The Maroon Bells shuttle is celebrating its 40th anniversary. The bus started taking visitors to the popular attraction in 1977 in an effort to cut down on pollution and traffic.

The shuttle runs during peak tourist season which starts in June. It will continue to run through Oct. 8 this year.
