Volunteers Plant Trees In Honor Of Earth Day
DENVER (CBS4)- Dozens of volunteers helped plant dozens of trees to help spruce up Denver parks.
Volunteers planted 40 trees in Lincoln Park on Thursday. It's part of The Park People's Mile High Tree Champions program to honor Earth Day.
Organizers believe the trees will grow to clean our air and water, prevent flooding and provide a home to urban wildlife.
