Warmer & Mild Before Weekend Cool Down

By Lauren Whitney

DENVER (CBS4)

Still a bit windy in parts of Colorado, but much calmer overall than earlier this week. After below average temperatures to start the week, we soared to the 60s in Denver on Thursday.

Skies are dry into Friday, but some changes start to roll in on Friday night. An area of low pressure will pass to the north of Colorado, with a cold front that will pass through our state. This brings some light to moderate snow to our mountains, mainly to the north. Most areas will see less than 3 inches of snow, sadly. We could really use a good dose.

We’ll stay dry in Denver, but winds will kick up again on Saturday with more clouds and cooler temperatures.

Calmer on Sunday, with temperatures in the low 50s and sunshine.
