King Soopers To Let Shoppers Skip Checkout Lane
DENVER (CBS4) - King Soopers is using new technology to get shoppers through checkout faster. It's called "Scan, Bag, Go".
Customers will either use the King Soopers' smartphone app or a handheld scanner to ring up their items as they shop. Then they can pay right from the device - no need to go to the checkout line.
The grocery chain plans to put the technology in 34 King Soopers and City Market stores this year. It hasn't yet specified which locations.
