CU Boulder Pays Shakespeare Performers Despite Cancellation
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- The University of Colorado in Boulder will have to pay the Colorado Shakespeare Festival even though there won't be any performances.
CU Athletics agreed to pay the festival $150,000 over a scheduling conflict.
CU was forced to cancel a performance of Love's Labour Lost because the university double-booked a Dead and Company concert for the same night in July at Folsom Field.
According to the Daily Camera, the same thing happened in 2016.
