DENVER (CBS4) – A Denver jury has convicted a man of first degree murder in the death of an Regional Transportation District security guard and pastor and he will spend the rest of his life in prison.

One of the women testified Cummings held a gun to Von Lanken’s head and said “do exactly as I say.” Cummings then shot and killed him.READ MORE: Road Rage Leads To Shooting On Interstate 25 In Denver

On Thursday afternoon Cummings was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
