Bill Would Rename Two Colorado Peaks For Fallen Climbers
DOLORES COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - A new bill honors two Colorado mountaineers who died during a climb.
Christine Boskoff and Charlie Fowler died in China in 2006.
This week, Colorado Congressman Scott Tipton introduced a bill in the House that would name two peaks after them.
The mountains are taller than 13,000 feet, and sit on the border of San Miguel and Dolores Counties.
The bill has passed the House, and is now headed to the Senate.
