Plane Makes Emergency Landing In Hay Field
ERIE, Colo. (CBS4) - A pilot was forced to make an emergency landing in a hay field in Erie Wednesday morning.
The pilot reported mechanical issues with the Cessna 210 before landing.
The plane was not damaged and landed on its wheels. The pilot was the only person inside, and he was not hurt.
Officials say the plane was flying out of Centennial Airport for some aerial surveys.
The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration will be investigating.
